Clark Masts ZT Series range of heavy duty pneumatic telescopic masts have a base tube diameter of 7 inches. ZT masts offer a very wide range of models and headload ranges up to 220kg and extended heights from 2m to 34m. The ideal heavy duty telescoping communications mast. Masts can be vehicle mounted, field mounted and for maximum extended heights mounted using our roof trolley system. ZT masts are also available on our 803 Series Trailer Masts.
Each telescoping mast section is keyed to prevent relative rotation to the next tube allowing the complete mast to be rotated from the ground with ease if directional headloads are being deployed. ZT masts can be specified with locking or non locking (plain) collars depending on the type of application and with rotating or non rotating bases.
Bearing surfaces are fitted with nylon and PTFE to guarantee smooth and effortless extension and retraction in the most demanding climatic conditions. ZT masts have been tested to MIL STD 810F. When each section is fully extended an automatic collet locking system provides complete rigidity when the mast is fully extended. Double Supertork is fitted as standard giving torsional stability of +/- 1.5 degrees. For enhanced torsional stability, our bespoke Triple Supertork System gives down to 0.1 degrees of stability, dependant upon mast model/size.
Accessories can be painted to match mast.
