Series 90 Sectional Mast Systems
This mast was developed from Type 73 to meet the need to lift 100 kg antenna
loads up to 40 metres with great stability and safety. It uses a 4-legged
erection gear and guys at 90°. After erection all erection material
may be removed from the site. It is therefore possible to erect a number
of masts with a single set of erection equipment.
Rapidly knocked-down transportable sectional masts for Rear or Diplomatic communications in inaccessible places. This is a mast series which typically enables grid parabol antennas up to 3 metres diameter to be placed at heights up to 40 metres with the necessary torsional stability.
The 90 degree guy control system retains safety at all stages of erection and retraction. Built-in crane device enables heavy antennas to be mounted with minimum effort. Once erected, all erection gear may be removed leaving a semi-permanent mast. Capability : 10 to 40 metres, headload up to 300 kg. Erection example 30 metres : 5 Persons, time to erect with typical antenna, 2 ½ hours.
